Pursuit Adventure Group (PAG)  was originally called Pursuit Adventure Gear, with the idea and concept coming from two individuals, David Vander Bloomen and Jim Johnson.  David and Jim have a passion and love for a variety of outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, and hiking.  At that time the idea was to create a line of fun t-shirts and other apparel designs that represented the love they had for the outdoors.

Fast forward a year and another individual, current Pro-Staffer Brent Stangel, was fishing with David and talking about the idea of Pursuit.  It was then that they observed a kid's fishing tournament going on around them.  The kids were fishing and wearing jerseys, and the adult in the boat was not fishing.  Brent and David both acknowledged  how neat it was that the kids were the focus of that tournament, and they soon began talking about how more kids needed to experience something like that.  Thus began the creation of the Pursuit Adventure Gear mission!

As 2020 began and the world-wide pandemic ensued, Brent and David continued to talk about getting PAG up and running.  When it was obvious that more "good" needed to happen in society, it was agreed that a new partnership would be born.  2021 saw Pursuit Adventure Gear re-brand to become Pursuit Adventure GROUP, taking the focus off gear and apparel and putting it on the true mission at hand:  Getting kids outdoors!  Through Pro Staff, Mentors, community partners, and events, PAG will be a catalyst to bring the experience of the outdoors to children who have not had the opportunity to experience it.  Our passion for the outdoors can become an opportunity of a lifetime for a child.  It is on all of us to share that passion with as many as possible.

As interest and excitement continues to grow, watch for PAG to become an official non-profit and begin actively working to get kids outdoors in 2023!
